Based in New York and London Three Humans Inc [THinc] is a film, video and digital media company, created by Michael Coulson in 2001. Three Humans Inc [THinc] makes connections between the worlds of science and art, commerce and creativity, transforming clients into collaborators. Michael has put together a core team of skilled writers, designers, and producers who will work with commercial and non-profit sec tor clients to develop their company’s message, across a wide range of media – print, video, web, and DVD.

Purnell - A series of films and creation of DVD interface to promote the New Jersey school's innovative "Affinities" learning program.
Bacon's Arena DVD - For the BBC and The Estate of Francis Bacon, a series of films on different aspects of the painter's life, and creation of DVD interface.

National Geographic - A World Music series.
A one-hour film, Songs under a Big Sky, which showcases 10 eclectic musical groups from such places as Papua New Guinea, Russia, Tibet, the Congo and Japan, and includes live concert appearances and documentary footage of their exotic homelands. Directed and produced by Michael Coulson.
Digital Club Network - Online Music Festival.
A collaboration with visual Artists represented by the New York gallery Exit Art to create an interactive virtual Music Festival environment. The Festival linked 200 live bands from 32 venues around the USA.
Michael Jordan to the Max - Using special effects created at Immersionj Studios in Toronto, THinc created scenes highlighting Jordan’s magical/superhuman abilities, for the Imax production.
Screenland - For the feature film, "It’s the Rage", starring Joan Allen, Anna Paquin and Jeff Daniels, THinc designed and produced sequences for a futuristic room-sized computer screen, which was capable of projecting the thoughts of a character played by Gary Sinise.
Smithsonian Institute - Vital Space. An interactive feature film about a near fatal accident in space.A scientific teaching aid for children. The film was installed in cinemas in Montreal, Boston, Melbourne and Washington.

Cooper Union for Science and Art
Campaign Video and DVD - Located in the heart of New York’s East Village, the highly selective Cooper Union provides full tuition scholarships to all students. THinc is currently producing a series of campaign fund-raising videos for this unique college’s 250 million dollar capital campaign for a new landmark building designed by award winning architect Thom Mayne. The first video was screened at a fund-raising dinner at the Hammersterin Ballroom hosted by Bill Cosby.
Bronx KIPP Academy
Concert Videos and DVD - The Knowledge is Power Program [KIPP] is a national charter school program serving children in traditionally underserved neighborhoods. Every year THinc produces concert videos of the Bronx Kipp Academy’s amazing rhythm and string orchestra’s inspiring performances at the Apollo Theater and Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.
Museum of the Moving Image
Website Video Programming - The Museum of the Moving Image is dedicated to educating the public about the art, history, technique, and technology of film, television, and digital media. THinc is producing a series of films of the annual science-in-film panel discussions sponsored by the Sloan Foundation. The first program was centered around the film "Primer".
The Avon Foundation
Video Presentation - As part of their annual Breast Cancer Crusade The Avon Foundation honors individuals whose outstanding work is recognized as supporting the breast cancer cause. THinc was asked to produce a series of five video portraits of honorees for a large scale presentation, which included a concert with Nathalie Cole, at the Lincoln Center. Honorees included Dr. Craig Jordan OBE; Senator Mary Landrieu (D.LA); Janet Robinson G.M. New York Times.
World Wildlife Fund for Nature
40 one-minute music videos - For MTV Europe. Entitled,"Take a Minute to Think About it", the spots were a collaboration with student filmmakers, MTV and the Realworld record label and highlighted global environmental problems.
